I've turned in to THAT dog owner. Ya know...the one that treats their dog like a child. Yes, I am a huge dog lover and the rents have three that I love dearly, but I've never really felt they were my own. Now, with my little man...I understand. I want to wrap him up and carry him around like a baby...a big, furry 30 pounder. And he looks at me with those puppy eyes when he's naughty..
I just can't punish him. Anyways, he's already 4 months old and goes in to be fixed next month. I just can't believe it. I really do feel like it was just yesterday that I met him and his 6 other siblings at boyfriends when they were 3 weeks old. Puppy training begins in 2 months. That will be an adventure!!

...technology addiction...
Why do people drive with their GPS on when they know where they're going??? It bothers me. You don't really need to see your car driving on the map. Today I saw a guy driving with his GPS up and running, just in map mode. You know, you can tell when they have a destination because the screen has an arrival time and directions for your next turn. Yeah, maaaaaybe he's not from around here but highly doubtful. I'm a huge lover of technology, but really? Does he really need to see the GPS map while he's driving?!

...winter wonderland...
Scouty and I(and family) went out to enjoy the snow today. Found out he LOVES to sled. He went down 3 times with me! Maybe we'll move on to surfing next. Guess that means I have to learn to surf...
Suited up and ready to go!
Look at him just hanging out(also look at my dad trying to deal with the dog and prepare himself to push us)!!
And away we gooooooooo!!!!
I'd also like to point out the S*@t show going on. One dog watching and scared in the background, one dog leashed and in the way of the 'pusher,' one dog in the way of the sled, and one dog sledding.

...white elephant...
Went to boyfriend's family christmas gathering today. They do White Elephant gifts...everyone brings something from their house that they don't need or use and pass it on to someone else. If you've never played, a name is drawn, gift picked, opened, then can be stolen by the next opener. There's also a mystery gift that can't be opened until all other gifts have been opened. The mystery gift can be really good or really bad. I heard one year it was a box of old tshirts with a $50 bill taped to the bottom of the box. Anyways, I was picked early, went out on a limb, and picked the mystery gift. I wanted that $50!! It was stolen from me so I picked the next one that struck my eye. Ripped the paper off, opened the big box to find a used VCR with about 20 children's videos. I was actually happy to recieve that gift and not the duct tape wallet, the Sitz bath(google it...it's gross), or the old calculator with receipt tape. And the mystery gift? A box of oranges and potatoes. Boyfriend ended up with a nice grill set and funny apron, so it wasn't all bad!!
